Using our digital X-ray equipment and in-house lab, the veterinary team at Northside Paws Veterinary Care can form a clearer picture of what’s going on with your pet. Then we can build a personalized treatment and care plan to help your furry family member start feeling better.
Digital X-rays
With digital radiography, our veterinary team can take a look inside your pet’s body in a non-invasive way. These X-rays help us see your dog or cat’s skeletal system, organs, lungs, and teeth. Common issues that we diagnose using X-rays include:
- Bone fractures
- Bladder and kidney stones
- Tooth abscesses
- Foreign objects your pet swallowed
X-rays can sometimes help spot tumors, pneumonia, and some types of cancer, too.

In-House Lab
We offer a range of diagnostic tests at our in-house lab, including:
- Urinalysis
- Blood work
- Biopsies
- Fecal testing
- Cytology
- Physical exams
Whether we are running tests at our in-house lab or sending samples out to an external laboratory we work to get you and your pet results in a timely manner.
Once we know more about what’s bothering your fur baby, we can recommend prescription medications, pain management, laser therapy, or a follow-up with a specialist. Our caring team will be at your side throughout every step of the diagnostic journey—no matter what.
